The presenter avatar is the small talking version of you that can appear in generated videos. It uses your uploaded photo, your selected style, and your narration voice to make recap videos feel more personal.

What to upload

Upload a clear photo of yourself in Settings -> Brand and voice or during onboarding. Supported files:
  • PNG
  • JPG
  • WebP
  • Up to 8 MB
Use a front-facing photo with enough lighting. Avoid cropped faces, heavy filters, and group photos.

Realistic and cartoon styles

Yuzu supports two avatar styles:
  • Realistic uses the original photo as the talking-photo source.
  • Cartoon first generates a stylized portrait from your photo, then uses that approved cartoon image as the talking-photo source.
For the cartoon path, generate the cartoon preview first. After you approve the look, generate the avatar.

Generate the avatar

Click Generate avatar after choosing the style. Yuzu builds a HeyGen talking photo and stores it for future videos. If you replace your source photo, regenerate the avatar so new videos use the updated presenter. The avatar is audio-driven. It lip-syncs to the narration voice used by the video, including cloned voices when your workspace has one.

Turn it on or off

Use the avatar toggle in Brand and voice settings to decide whether TLDR videos include the presenter avatar. When the avatar is off, Yuzu can still generate all-slide videos with voice-over. This is also the default path for some overview videos that do not need a talking presenter.

Where it appears

The presenter avatar can appear in:
  • TLDR recap videos
  • Buyer-package videos
  • Master overview TLDRs, when the workflow uses a presenter
Avatar setup is optional. You can skip it during onboarding and add it later from settings.
