What Gmail enables
When Gmail is connected, Yuzu can:- Send tracked email from the seller’s mailbox.
- Schedule reviewed email drafts to send later.
- Persist outbound replies back into Yuzu threads.
- Backfill historical conversations for a person.
- Detect inbound replies and attach them to the right thread.
- Count opens and clicks for tracked sends.
- Queue agent-drafted sends for approval when email autopilot is off.
Required scopes
Yuzu checks for two Google scopes:gmail.send: required to send email from the connected mailbox.gmail.readonly: required for backfill, thread reads, and inbound sync.
People backfill
On a person’s Emails tab, Yuzu can search Gmail for existing messages to or from that person’s email address. Backfill is deduped by Gmail message ID and scoped to the signed-in user.Deal emails
Deal pages show deal-scoped email threads: emails Yuzu sent for that deal and replies linked back to the same deal. Use the person email view when you need the full relationship history with a contact.Approval queue
When email autopilot is off, agent-drafted sends wait for human approval. Review the draft, approve it, or discard it.Scheduled sends
Scheduled sends use the same Gmail connection as immediate sends. Yuzu stores the requested send time on the draft, then a scheduled worker sends from the connected mailbox and records the Gmail message ID on the sent email row. If the Google token is missing or thegmail.send scope is unavailable when the scheduled time arrives, Yuzu keeps the draft and records the error so the seller can reconnect Gmail and schedule again.
Gmail does not make one user’s mailbox visible to every teammate. Email enrichment is scoped to the connected user.
